According to World of Reel, Glen Powell is no longer attached to star in Sam Esmail’s Tesseract due to undisclosed “script concerns.”

According to a new report from Knight Edge Media, Stephen Colbert’s Lord of the Rings movie has been “paused” in light of the Paramount Pictures/Warner Bros. merger. As the outlet notes, “Colbert is once again at the mercy of CEO David Ellison, even though he was working on the movie for WB.”

Elsewhere, entertainment insider Apocalyptic Horseman alleges filming on Avengers: Secret Wars has been delayed to January 2027.

During a recent interview with The Guardian, Russell T. Davies revealed a few more plot details about this year’s canceled Doctor Who Christmas special.

I pitched it to the BBC, and they loved it. An olde-worlde English village intercut with a huge, mysterious spaceship, an outer-space festival called Winternox, and lots and lots of Daleks, with something very unexpected hidden away … Oh, yes, I liked it!

Speaking with Gold Derby, Laurie Holden stated she believes Marita Covarrubias’ storyline has been “played out,” but would still appear on the upcoming X-Files reboot if asked.

No. I think her story pretty much played out. They had to follow what was really leading the story, and I feel like it came full circle. She had the right ending for that time.
