Mohalla Tech, the homegrown social media company that operates ShareChat, Moj and QuickTV, reported a 40% increase in revenue in FY26 to Rs 1,016 crore, compared with Rs 723 crore in FY25.
The company said the growth was driven by its diversification into micro-dramas, which are monetised through both advertising and subscriptions. This added a third major revenue stream alongside its existing advertising and live-streaming businesses. Subscription revenue, driven by its micro-drama app QuickTV and Moj+, contributed Rs 293 crore in its first full year.
Mohalla Tech said its annual recurring revenue (ARR) had already reached Rs 1,500 crore in the first half of FY27. It also expects to close FY27 with its first-ever full-year profit at the EBITDA level, with EBITDA of nearly Rs 25 crore.
The company said its EBITDA losses narrowed by 58% to Rs 91 crore in FY26, compared with Rs 219 crore in FY25. It added that it had recorded positive cash flows for four consecutive quarters and positive EBITDA for two consecutive quarters by the end of the first half of FY27.
“After a few years of strategic discipline, we have turned the corner in our path to profitability. A year ago, we had achieved the mission of building a sustainable core business and were shifting gears to accelerate growth. Now, we are EBITDA positive, generating cash, and funding the next phase of growth entirely from our own cash flows,” said Ankush Sachdeva, Co-founder and CEO, Mohalla Tech.
While subscription revenue drove growth in FY26, the company said its advertising business was also regaining momentum.
