MobiKwik posts Rs 11.83 Cr profit in Q2 of FY27

MobiKwik reported a net profit in the second quarter of FY27, compared with a loss in the year-ago period, marking its fourth consecutive profitable quarter and its highest-ever quarterly profit.

The fintech company posted a net profit of Rs 11.83 crore for the July-September quarter, against a loss of Rs 28.61 crore in Q2 FY26.

Revenue rose 9.4% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 295.70 crore. MobiKwik attributed the quarter’s performance to higher gross merchandise value (GMV) growth and improved margins.

“We believe that the operating leverage in our business model will compound as we evolve into an AI-first company. Our continued focus on cost optimisation and operating efficiency is further strengthening our operating model and will drive profitability as we scale,” said Bipin Preet Singh, MD & CEO, MobiKwik.

According to MobiKwik, its payment business recorded a 35% year-on-year (YoY) growth in gross merchandise value (GMV) to Rs 59,677 crore in Q2 FY27. Consumer payments GMV grew 27% YoY to Rs 46,375 crore, while lending disbursals rose 34% to Rs 1,082.6 crore during the quarter.

The company’s registered user base increased to 196.3 million in Q2 FY27, compared with 183.5 million in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

MobiKwik is also accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across engineering, lending, customer experience, and risk management. According to the company, AI now generates 92% of its code, helping accelerate go-to-market initiatives by 55%. Its Help LLM resolves 91% of customer queries, while fraud detection is entirely AI-led.

The fintech company added that its AI-powered collections platform facilitates 55% of early collections and has improved collection rates by 33%.
