Ahead of opening its initial public offering (IPO) for bidding, fintech unicorn Moneyview has raised ₹327.5 Cr from anchor investors by allocating 9.63 Cr shares at an issue price of ₹34 per equity share, the upper end of the IPO’s price band.
Seven domestic mutual funds via fourteen schemes netted 6.96 Cr or 72% of the anchor round. SBI Mutual Fund’s SBI Banking and Financial Services Fund lapped up the highest 1.47 Cr shares or 15.27% of the anchor round, investing over ₹50 Cr.
Via three of its holding entities, HDFC Mutual Fund also bagged 1.47 Cr shares of the company. Motilal Oswal, 360 One, Goldman Sachs, ICICI Prudential’s iSIF Ex Top 100 Long- Short Fund were some of the other investors that picked up a stake in the IPO-bound digital lending company.
Moneyview’s ₹1,092 Cr IPO is set to open for public subscription tomorrow (September 24). At the upper end of the price band of ₹32-34, the company is seeking a valuation of around ₹5,985 Cr ($624 Mn). This is about half of the $1.2 Bn valuation the company commanded post its last equity funding round of $4.6 Mn in September 2024.
