Fintech Startup Zype’s Owner Easy Platform Turns Profitable In FY26, Posts ₹5.3 Cr PAT

Mumbai-based fintech Easy Platform Services, which owns and operates digital lending startup Zype, turned profitable in FY26, posting a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹5.3 Cr against a loss of ₹12.9 Cr in FY25. 

The startup’s consolidated total income jumped 66.6% to ₹176.6 Cr during the year from ₹106 Cr in FY25, according to ratings agency ICRA.

Easy Platform continued to remain profitable in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. It provisionally posted a PAT of ₹6.1 Cr on a total income of ₹66 Cr in Q1 FY27.

The instruments are backed by a pool of personal loan receivables originated by Easy Platform’s NBFC subsidiary, Respo Financial Capital. 9 Cr in the previous fiscal year. 4 Cr in Q1 FY27. Easy Platform also witnessed an improvement in asset quality. 7% in Q1 FY27. Stage 3 assets largely comprise credit-impaired loans that are overdue for more than 90 days. 7% in FY25. 6% in Q1 FY27 but remained above the regulatory requirement of 15%. Founded in 2019 by Yogi Sardana and the late Ajay Relan, Easy Platform operates digital lending platform Zype, which offers unsecured personal loans to salaried individuals across Tier I, II, and III cities.
