Brahma AI raises $150M led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management

Enterprise AI company Brahma AI has raised $150 million in a funding round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management, as it looks to expand its AI platform across media and entertainment, sports, healthcare, and advertising.

Multiples invested $100 million through the issuance of preferred shares, while Brahma AI has received a further $100 million in investor interest.

The company works with global customers such as Warner Bros, the NBA, and Mayo Clinic. Its strategic distribution partners include Google, Hakuhodo, and DNEG.

Founded and led by Prabhu Narasimhan, Brahma AI brings together technology and capabilities developed across DNEG, Metaphysic, and Prime Focus Technologies. Narasimhan serves as Founder and CEO, while Jo Plaete, Co-founder and CTO, heads the company's technology and R&D division.

The company's AI-native platform comprises Brahma AI Core and Brahma AI Studio. Its technology combines enterprise content intelligence and management with AI creation capabilities spanning visual AI, digital humans, voice, and multilingual performance.

"Brahma AI is reimagining the content supply chain in the age of AI. Our investment is anchored in the belief that every enterprise is becoming a content enterprise. Multiples Private Equity will be an active partner as the company navigates the next phase of growth through investments in R&D, global market expansion, and talent & process build-out,” said Renuka Ramnath, Founder, MD & CEO of Multiples.

Brahma AI plans to expand its technology into new use cases and is working towards interactive digital humans. The company is also developing its platform to be model agnostic, while focusing on security, authenticity, and provenance.
