As is tradition, ahead of the theatrical re-release of Marvel’s aptly titled Avengers Endgame: Encore, grainy smartphone footage of the film’s extra scenes has leaked online, revealing how the film will tie into Avengers: Doomsday come December.

The original plan for Marvel Studios’ rerelease of Avengers Endgame: Encore, which returns to theaters on September 25, was to impart the nostalgic feeling of seeing Earth’s mightiest heroes on the silver screen like it was 2019 again while also providing new scenes to get folks more hype come December for Avengers: Doomsday. That last bit saw the studio include alternate post-credits scenes, depending on the theater folks were in—Clue-style—showcasing different scenes. According to Kotaku, those scenes leaked on Reddit from a preview screening and have since migrated to X/Twitter, leading Marvel Studios to copyright strike them like a game of whack-a-mole, only for a new compiled supercut to repopulate online. This is why we can’t have nice things.
