The Legend of Zelda series is fond of stories about the inexorable and obliviating passage of time. Somebody should make one about growing so old, stupid and exhausted that you can't distinguish original Zelda games from romhacks of those games. Romhacks like Indigo, a "full game replacement" for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, set 15 years after the events of Majora's Mask. It's got a couple of public demos, and is playable on PC via static recompilation - the mechanical translation of the console code into C code that runs on other platforms, not to be conflated with genAI porting.
