Yandex beat PARIVISION 2-1 to set up PARI Universe upper-bracket final with GamerLegion

Team Yandex knocked TI 2026 runners-up PARIVISION into the lower bracket at PARI Universe and will face GamerLegion in the upper-bracket final. The win keeps Yandex on course for a third straight title, while TI champions Team Spirit fight on from the lower bracket.

Team Yandex are two series wins away from a third straight tournament victory. They beat PARIVISION in the PARI Universe upper-bracket semifinal on October 29. PARIVISION, the runners-up at The International 2026, now drop into the lower bracket.

The series did not go smoothly. PARIVISION won the second game with 25 kills to Yandex’s 1. Yandex conceded that map after just 16 minutes. Offlaner ATF helped his team close out the series. He finished 13/2/7 on Timbersaw and dealt 40,000 hero damage.

The win extends a dominant group-stage run. Yandex reached the playoffs as Group A winners. They went 4-0 in series and 8-1 in maps.

GamerLegion beat OG without dropping a map in the other upper-bracket semifinal. Hotspawn described the run as the North American team’s best international result. Their reward is a meeting with a Yandex side that has won its last two events.

Yandex opened the 2026-27 season at PGL Wallachia Season 9. They won it in ATF’s debut and took $300,000 from a $1 million prize pool. The event was considered Tier 2 because several top teams were absent, GosuGamers reported. Yandex then beat Team Spirit 3-1 in the BLAST Slam VIII grand final in Malta on October 11. That title earned $270,000, split into $200,000 for players and $70,000 for the team.
