Xbox Game Pass Losing One of the Best LEGO Games and 7 More Titles on October 31

Xbox Game Pass is losing at least eight titles on October 31, putting October in a tie for the second-highest monthly removal total of 2026. The forthcoming list of Xbox Game Pass departures includes one of the most critically acclaimed LEGO games ever made in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

The mid-October 2026 removal wave was already substantial in terms of both quality and quantity. That catalog update saw Xbox Game Pass lose eight titles in addition to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Sandfall Interactive's hit RPG that dominated numerous award shows and ranked among the biggest games of 2025.

In October's biggest day for Xbox Game Pass yet, the subscription service adds two day-one releases, plus one of the best-selling games of 2025.

The newly published list of month-end Xbox Game Pass departures contains eight titles: Dead Static Drive, Wildgate, Deep Rock Galactic, Wartales, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, along with the remasters of Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle. Although official, the list remains preliminary and is not expected to be finalized until Microsoft formally announces its Wave 2 Xbox Game Pass lineup for October 2026. Based on its cadence of content catalog changes throughout the 2020s, that will most likely happen on October 20.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga stands out even within TT Games' well-regarded catalog, largely because of how substantially it expands the studio's established gameplay formula.
