Xbox Game Pass Gets 4 New Titles in Big October 2026 Release Wave

An October 29 update to the Xbox Game Pass library has introduced four new titles. The arrivals mark the final wave of Xbox Game Pass releases for October 2026 and include a day-one catalog addition in the form of horror parkour game Terrible Lizards.

Terrible Lizards is the debut game from North Carolina-based WDR Studios, founded by the team behind nerdcore music channel JT Music, with Digital Pajamas and Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive publishing. The first-person horror platformer sends players through the abandoned Route 66 attraction Dalton's Dinos, where they must use parkour moves such as running, climbing, sliding, and wall-running to evade monstrous dinosaurs rather than fight them. The project first surfaced as a curated pick from the August 2025 PAX Rising Showcase before its formal reveal in March 2026. It locked down a release date on August 26, which is also when it was quietly confirmed for Xbox Game Pass.

Aside from Terrible Lizards, the October 29 Xbox Game Pass batch consists of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Mouthwashing, plus Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted. The update, on the whole, has a fitting Halloween slant, with Square Enix's big-budget RPG being the only non-horror and non-horror-adjacent title. Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted isn't a day-one game, but it's not available on XGP Premium because it requires the EA Play add-on.

With these four games added, Xbox Game Pass has gained 17 new titles over the course of October 2026, five more than in September.
