Where to find the Outpost cell key in Phantom Blade Zero

The Outpost cell key is a secondary objective in Phantom Blade Zero that teaches you that exploring the maps thoroughly is worthwhile. As you progress in the story, you will come across plenty of locked doors, and it might take some time before you can obtain the means to open them, as some are connected to the main story.

However, you can quickly open the door in this early area by knowing where to look. Below, we explain where you can find the Outpost cell in Phantom Blade Zero.

As you explore the initial areas in the Weeping Creek Valley, you will reach the Outpost Courtyard, an area that became a small enemy camp. After defeating all enemies, you will need to talk to the Baishan Disciples to the right of the locked gate. Before doing so, check to the left of the gate to find a short path leading down to a locked cell.

To find the cell key, progress through the story to unlock the Outpost. Keep following the main path until you find the Outpost bell near Forge, the smith. Climb the stairs near the bell, pass through a small gate, then climb the next flight of stairs. At the end, turn right, and follow the winding path upward to reach a house. Follow the path on its right side.

This new path takes you to another house, where, in front of it, there are two corpses with an orange-glowing orb nearby.
