Where to Find the Cell Key in Phantom Blade Zero

Many open-world action games feature locked doors and gates that players cannot open when they first encounter them. These usually require a key and often lead to optional areas containing upgrade materials or other resources.

Phantom Blade Zero is filled with such locked doors, and one appears fairly early in the game, shortly after the red thread barrier and the fight against the Jagged Steel boss. Interacting with this door will mark its location on the map, making it easier to return once you have the required key. Here's how to find the Cell Key in the nearby Outpost area.

Learn where to find the Flesh Lily for Yu'er and how to complete her quest in Phantom Blade Zero.

From the locked door, turn around and head through the main gates of the Outpost, which also serve as the main path forward. This is the first camp you will encounter, with several NPCs, some of whom offer quests like Purge the Sect quest.

Once you reach the Bell in the middle of the Outpost, head straight through the gates ahead. As you continue forward, you will notice a path leading straight to the Peng Meng boss arena. Ignore this path for now and turn right instead.

You will come across a house that you can enter. To the right of this house, look for a window that you can vault through to reach a wooden ramp. Go up the ramp, and you will find the Cell Key further ahead on the right.
