How to Find All Three Herbs for Yu'er (Apprentice Healer) in Phantom Blade Zero

After meeting Yu'er for the first time in Weeping Creek Valley, players will make their way to the Outpost, where they can find several NPCs, some of whom have quests of their own, like Purge the Sect. Once players have defeated the Peng Meng boss and rested at the Crane Bell, causing a day to pass, they can return to the Outpost to find Yu'er there.

Speaking to her starts the Apprentice Healer quest, in which she asks Soul to gather ingredients for medicine so she can treat the wounded. There are three items to find, and although their locations are marked on the map, reaching them can be a little tricky. This guide covers how to find all three herbs and complete the quest.

After accepting the Apprentice Healer quest, you will need to bring Yu'er Blemish Goldweed, Congealeaf, and Blood-Stopper Vine. While the quest marks their locations on the map, you will need to progress through the main story to reach two of the herbs.

To find the first herb, you need to first follow the main path until you reach the Axemaster's Holding Cell Bell. After the cutscene finishes, head out of the Holding Cell area, where you will spot three paths ahead. The path straight ahead leads to the Sha-Chi Tower and continues the main story, so you can leave it for now.
