The Ghost In The Portrait Quest In DDV (Disney Dreamlight Valley)

You need to complete The Ghost in the Portrait quest to unlock Zero as a companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This is the third quest in which players receive a mail from Oogie Boogie to help him with something. At the end of the quest, you manage to stop him from cheating the wheel and get a cute companion as well.

Explore the Haunted Floating Festival and solve the tricky puzzles to get spooky rewards before the event ends in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

After completing the previous two Oogie Boogie quests, trigger The Ghost in the Portrait quest and finish it to unlock Zero in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Once you read the mail, go to the mirror realm where Oogie Boogie is and inspect the Haunted Portrait of Zero next to him.

A memory will shortly appear, and you need to solve the puzzle in DDV to know more about Zero.

After chatting with Scrooge McDuck and Merlin, you receive a box that can help distract Oogie Boogie long enough for you to destroy the wheel. Place it on the shelf near the right stairs on the first floor.

Use the Pickaxe to destroy the wheel and pick up the Lucky Wheel Cogs and Ghostly Paint Thinner. Use the latter from your inventory to add it to the watering can.

Water the Zero portrait, only for it to disappear. Oogie Boogie then explains that he created this trap for you and spawns a lot of Haunted Portraits to make it harder to find Zero.
