Skyrim might be 15 years old, but its popularity has not really faded. As the Dragonborn, you have a lot of things on your mind and pressure on your shoulders, so much so that you might forget to pursue a social life. Yes, you can get married in Skyrim, and the game makes up for this mechanic's shallowness by just giving you a billion potential partners, both husbands and wives.
Skyrim has roughly 30 female characters who will marry you, provided you meet their requirements and pull at their heartstrings. For the most part, I imagine most people still playing today either know the identity of their soulmate or prefer to utilize the mods to create them; still, let's highlight the best wives in Skyrim.
Before players can get married in Skyrim, they need to speak with Maramal. You can find him in Riften, giving a speech at the Bee and Barb when you first arrive in the city, or at the Temple of Mara. Ask him about marriage in Skyrim to unlock the dialogue option for marriage.
After speaking with Maramal, players need to get an Amulet of Mara and equip it before speaking with a potential spouse. The marriage dialogue option will only appear if the spouse's personal quest is complete, so make sure to help them first with whatever they need to do.
