Steam Users Can Claim 10/10 Masterpiece Open-World Game for Free

Steam users will soon have the opportunity to claim free keys for Fallout: New Vegas, one of the best open-world RPGs, with 95% positive player reviews. Released in 2010, Fallout: New Vegas remains one of the most renowned installments in the franchise. And thanks to an upcoming giveaway, some Steam users will be able to add this masterpiece to their libraries completely free of charge.

Most free-to-keep game promotions feature indie titles from smaller studios, and AAA games rarely appear. The upcoming Fallout: New Vegas promotion is therefore quite exceptional, as it gives gamers a golden chance to grab a game that once cost $59.99. The only catch is that this giveaway might not be as straightforward as Steam's regular free-to-keep offers.

A turn-based game on Steam is free to keep until November 13, after which it will become a paid title, costing new players at least $4.99 USD.

Starting on December 2, Lenovo Legion Gaming Community will give away free Steam keys for Fallout: New Vegas. As a rather old open-world RPG, New Vegas has received several price cuts over the years and now normally costs $9.99 USD on Steam, but its multiple paid DLC packs can add to the total cost. That said, Lenovo's free-to-keep promotion does not appear to include these premium add-ons and will seemingly offer redeemable codes for the base game only.

Lenovo's promotion comes at a special time. Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout: New Vegas will receive a remaster , and some believe it could arrive sometime in 2027, perhaps around the franchise's 30th anniversary in October next year.
