Star Wars: Galactic Racer Campaign Available To Prime Subscribers On Luna

Star Wars: Galactic Racer has arrived, and thousands of you have already picked up a copy and sped off in your podracers. If you haven’t, but you’re tempted, there’s a way you can play most of what Galactic Racer has to offer without shelling out for your own copy of the game.

That’s because Galactic Racer has been added to Amazon Luna. Luna is Amazon’s cloud gaming service that lets subscribers stream games through a Fire Stick or a compatible device. It has a library of games to choose from and, best of all, you don’t need to be subscribed to Luna - you just need to be subscribed to Amazon Prime.

If you have an active Prime subscription, which tens of millions of people do, you have access to Luna, which I’m assuming most of you aren’t using. Well, now is the time to make the most of it, as the service just got a huge day-one release in Galactic Racer.

Before you message your Star Wars-loving friends and tell them to get Luna so you can hop online and play together, know that the free Luna version of Galactic Racer is more limited than the full release. It only includes the game’s single-player campaign. That means no competing online, nor completing its scenarios or setting times in arcade mode.

That is certainly not something you should be turning your nose up at, though. Galactic Racer’s runs-based campaign is one of the best I’ve ever experienced in a racing game.
