Someone Is Already Playing The Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake Early And Answering Fans’ Most Pressing Questions

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake isn’t out until November 5, but at least one fan appears to have already gotten hold of an early physical copy. No major spoilers have leaked, but the user did confirm a couple of interesting details, including one moment fans have been hoping Nintendo would keep unchanged from the N64 classic.

“So far, I’ve gotten the first stone and Zelda’s lullaby,” user Robnaratt34 posted over the weekend on the Ocarina of Time subreddit. “Edit: I’ve gotten to Lord Jabu Jabu Edit 2: I’ve gotten the master sword.” The user also shared a handful of screenshots confirming the new look of characters and items that haven’t previously been revealed.

Fans have been peppering the thread with questions as Robnaratt34 plays, including about any notable moments that may have been significantly altered from the original version. “Are the ReDeads gross looking and zombie like,” one person asked. “Yes, they’re beautiful,” the early player replied.

“Does Darunia still have his dance moves?” asked another. “Yes, IMO they improved his conversations too,” wrote Robnaratt34. “Does Queen Gohma have any new attacks or is she the same as the original?” asked a third. “Tbh I beat her before she could attack,” the Reddit user confirmed.

But one iconic moment players have been desperate for news about has to do with King Zora De Bon XVI. When Link presents him with a message in a bottle from his lost daughter Princess Ruto, he responds by slowly shimmying to the side to unblock the passage way to Lord Jabu Jabu.
