Solo Leveling's New Release Officially Welcomes New Monarch

Despite growing tremendously in popularity ever since the release of its second season, Solo Leveling isn't getting any new anime content this year. Instead, the franchise has shifted all focus to Solo Leveling's other ongoing projects, which include its popular gacha-style video game, Solo Leveling: Arise. Solo Leveling: Arise is always adding brand-new characters and new story elements to explore with each new update.

On October 22, after three months, we finally received our newest Monarch Successor. This new Monarch Successor is known as Velvet, and she inherits the powers of the Monarch of Fangs, Rakan. With her new release, she is available to use in battle. To add to that, we also get her full backstory through a brand-new Hunter Origin story, and the rise of a new Monarch has officially been unveiled to the public now.

Solo Leveling's next anime project isn't coming anytime before 2027, and this is because Beyond System, the big theatrical release, is teased for a 2027 release date by Aniplex and A-1 Pictures. For the moment, we have a new video game coming out this year, known as Solo Leveling: Karma, which we've all been eagerly waiting for. We also have an ongoing gacha video game, known as Solo Leveling: Arise, to look forward to.

Solo Leveling: Arise has just received its newest update, which dropped officially on October 22, 2026. Given how long ago the previous update was, this new update was one of the most-awaited ones of the year, as not only did it go on to deliver a new alt for fan-favorite character Go Gun-Hee , but also a brand-new Monarch at the same time.
