Solo Leveling: 5 Shadow Soldiers That Can Rival Beru

Solo Leveling is one of the most hyped and well-loved anime in the world. It rose to prominence after an immense first season filled with incredible action and outstanding visuals. Also, Jinwoo being at the center of attention makes the whole experience better.

Sung Jin Woo's Shadow Extraction ability makes him one of the most powerful characters in Solo Leveling, but which are his strongest Shadows?

The hero has access to several unique powers, one of which is necromancy. Unlike traditional necromancers, Jinwoo's power turns the bodies into shadows. Out of the many shadows that the hero has gathered, Beru stands out the most. Jinwoo obtained the shadow after beating the Ant King in the Jeju Island raid. Shortly afterward, the shadow showed off its power by annihilating several with ease. While there is no denying that Beru is extremely powerful. There are others who can pose a challenge to him.

Igris was the first ever Shadow that Jinwoo ever recruited in Solo Leveling. He was only able to recruit Igris after defeating him in combat. It was an enthralling battle, which could frankly have gone either way. Since Igris was the first shadow Soldier, it is plausible to assume that Jinwoo feels a deeper connection to him.

In terms of combat, he is one of the best fighters in Sung Jinwoo's army. Igris primarily fights using a sword, and he combines it with his insane physical abilities. As it stands, Beru is stronger than Igris, but that could easily change as the latter gains more experience.
