TL;DR Samsung’s Galaxy Fit 4 Manager app has appeared on the Galaxy Store, revealing a dedicated Wallet option that hints at contactless payment support.
However, the tracker’s earlier FCC certification makes no mention of NFC connectivity, leaving payment support uncertain.
The listing also showcases new watch faces and a battery life estimate of just over four days, though the latter is likely placeholder data.
Samsung’s fitness wearable ambitions don’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. Last month, we shared video clips of the upcoming Galaxy Fit 4 from 360-degree angles, and although the wearable looked almost indistinguishable from its predecessor on the outside, new leaks suggest that it could have a lot going for it on the inside.
Beyond a trove of new watch faces and stress-tracking support , the upcoming fitness tracker could finally bring contactless payments to the Galaxy Fit line. This should bring Samsung’s offering more in line with competitors like Google’s Fitbit Charge line and Xiaomi’s smart bands , both of which boast NFC for contactless payments.
