Power upgrade points are special items that are mostly found in large resource crates scattered around the Control Resonant map.

Once you collect three power upgrade points, you'll increase your maximum power, which is a resource used to cast combat abilities. Keep in mind that you are not increasing your damage output, but more so increasing how many abilities you can use when the white bar fills up on your screen.

Power upgrade points are found in large resource crates, specifically the crates made out of concrete blocks, or earned as a reward from arcade machines.

Some of the resource crates are locked in testing research facilities, so you'll need to solve a few puzzles and beat a few challenges. Your best bet is to level up your zones until you unlock the locations of every large resource crate on the map. Unfortunately, you won't know what's inside the crate until you see it, and some are still hard to find, even if you know their location.

As for the arcade machines, you need to earn the second-highest score to get one as a reward, but these can be fairly tough, especially early on. However, if you're short on time, you can always use the Assist Mode menu to help you get a high score.
