Pokemon TCG Officially Reveals Special New Rayquaza Release

The Pokemon TCG has officially revealed a brand-new Rayquaza-themed Premium Tournament Collection, featuring promo cards, exclusive card sleeves, and plenty of packs. Mega Rayquaza serves as the spotlight Pokemon for the Pokemon TCG's next major set, Delta Reign.

The trading card game branch of the beloved monster-catching franchise has delivered plenty of exciting releases in 2026. The Pokemon TCG kicked off the year with the highly-anticipated Ascended Heroes set, which broke the record for the largest Pokemon set of all time. Sets like Chaos Rising and Pitch Black have been fan-favorites following their debut, and the trading card game recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of the franchise with the release of Pokemon's 30th Celebration set, containing reprints of some of the game's most iconic cards. Now, Pokemon TCG fans have an exciting new product to pick up soon.

The Pokemon Company officially revealed the Mega Rayquaza ex Premium Tournament Collection on October 29. The stunning box set features premium accessories from popular TCG accessory company Dragon Shield, including both Mega Rayquaza sleeves and a deck box. Fans picking up the box will get a multitude of foil promo cards, including Mega Rayquaza ex, Zinnia's Trust, Adventure Lantern, Mega Rayquaza Cap, and both halves of the Legendary Summit card. The box also comes with eight booster packs and a code card for rewards on Pokemon TCG Live. Pokemon's Mega Rayquaza ex Premium Tournament Collection is scheduled to officially release on February 12, 2027.

The newest promo box from Pokemon TCG looks to match perfectly with the game's final set of 2026.
