There’s still one major annual event left for Pokemon GO in 2026, but the popular mobile title has already staked its claim on 2027. This week, Scopely Explore revealed the dates for Pokemon GO Tour 2027, both for its two in-person events and for the Global edition that will follow.

Pokemon GO Tour 2027 will include an in-person version in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, California, beginning on February 19, 2027, and running until February 21st. This will mark the fourth consecutive year that GO Tour has been held in Los Angeles and the third consecutive year for Taiwan. The only difference is that those four years were all held in Los Angeles – specifically, the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena – the events in Taiwan have had different host cities. It’s unclear if GO Tour 2027 will also take place at the Rose Bowl, but it seems likely.

Of course, Pokemon GO players who can’t make the trip out to the sunny West Coast of the US or to Kaohsiung, Taiwan will be able to enjoy almost all of what the event has to offer when the Global Edition launches on February 27 and 28th.

As far as what players can expect for Pokemon GO Tour 2027, Scopely Explore is only willing to confirm that this will be an Alola-themed Tour. That means the focus will be on Pokemon seen in Pokemon Sun and Moon, as well as Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

At the very least, Pokemon GO players should expect to see both Solgaleo and Lunala raids during the GO Tour event, and presumably that will also include Dawn Wings and Dusk Mane Necrozma .
