One UI 9 is breaking Wi-Fi, mobile data, and even SIM detection for some Galaxy users

TL;DR Several Samsung users have reported issues with mobile data, Wi-Fi, and SIM detection after updating to One UI 9.

Restarting the phone or toggling airplane mode seems to temporarily resolve the problem.

A permanent fix hasn’t been discovered for any of the connectivity problems.

Samsung has been rolling out the stable One UI 9 update to Galaxy phones over the last few months. Although it introduces several new features and brings some Galaxy AI features to older Samsung flagships, the update process doesn’t seem to be going smoothly for everyone.

According to threads on Reddit and the Samsung Community forums , several users have been experiencing connectivity problems since installing the One UI 9 update. The problems range from Wi-Fi and cellular data issues to phones failing to detect SIM cards.
