The power scaling in the One-Punch Man franchise is off the rails, and this is on purpose, as the series itself is a caricature of traditional shonen franchises and tropes. From characters who can effortlessly travel faster than light to those who can sneeze away entire planets, the franchise is filled to the brim with overpowered fighters.

Among them, there are some characters whose chosen path to power comes through the mastery of their weapons. Weapons in One-Punch Man take a variety of forms, from overpowered swords to powerful suits of armor that bolster their users' abilities tenfold.

The monsters from One-Punch Man are some of the strongest enemies in anime, and these select few are the toughest of them all.

Speed-o'-Sound Sonic has been a repeated thorn in the sides of Saitama and the main characters of the series from the very first season. Although his one-sided rivalry with Saitama is hilarious due to their astronomical power gap, his actual speed and overall strength are formidable, as could be seen in his fights against Genos and Flashy Flash.

With the former, Sonic proved to be incredibly fast, though their altercation happened earlier on in Season 2 when he was much weaker, and the fight against Flashy Flash showed two masters of speed going at it. At the very least, Sonic has proven his strength to be around the level of an S-Class hero, which he makes full use of with his various ninja weapons.

Generally, within the One-Punch Man community, fans tend to rank Metal Bat and Flashy Flash close to one another in terms of overall strength.
