One Piece Is Officially Adding A Legendary Weapon To The Straw Hat Pirates

With the release of One Piece chapter 1195 on October 11, 2026, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 46, Eiichiro Oda expanded upon a legendary weapon from the Void Century, which is going to be officially added to the Straw Hat Pirates.

Heading into One Piece chapter 1196, which is set to be released on October 18, 2026, we all expect more exposition pertaining to this legendary weapon. It is sure to be wielded by the Straw Hats soon enough in the story, officially taking their overall power to a new level and, most importantly, giving them the capability to defend Elbaf against the threat of Nerona Imu and the World Government.

The legendary weapon of Nefertari Lily was first teased in One Piece chapter 1193, which was officially released on September 13, 2026, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Double Issue 42-43. In this chapter, Nico Robin was seen together with Chopper in the hidden warehouse in the Owl's Library. There, Biblo, the mysterious owl who has been alive for centuries upon centuries, revealed that someone long ago left a tool in Elbaf. Biblo's own grandfather passed on this tool along with a letter, and now this owl passed it on to the Straw Hat Pirates.

Chopper: In this box, we'll find a letter and a tool passed down by Biblo's grandfather. The box has been passed down through generations. Now, he wants us to open it.

Saul: This tool was left untouched for centuries. Why is it suddenly needed now?
