It also reached an impressive concurrent player count of around 11,000 at one point. Dimraeth has attracted both Soulslike and cozy base-building fans on Steam by combining elements of the two subgenres.

Some have dubbed Dimraeth the love child of Elden Ring and Stardew Valley, a comparison rooted in the game's Souls-inspired combat mechanics and pixel art style. Elden Ring and Stardew Valley might not sound like natural ingredients for a single game, but Dimraeth's success suggests otherwise.
