My Hero Academia: 7 Strongest Rivals Of Prime All Might, Officially Ranked

Out of all the Heroes to have ever lived in the world of My Hero Academia, Prime All Might was in his own league. After having inherited One For All from his mentor Nana, Toshinori became an unstoppable force. By honing his strength, he ended up becoming the greatest Hero to have ever lived, assuming the name All Might. Through his youth and into his old age, he has always fought against evil.

Unfortunately for All Might, age and Quirk loss have definitely affected him. He slowly lost all his power after choosing Deku as his successor, and now, he has been rendered completely quirkless. Nevertheless, his prime version is still a legend among Pro Heroes, and he held power rivaled by very few villains and heroes.

While All For One was All Might's biggest arch-nemesis, among the Pro Heroes, his biggest rival during his own generation was Endeavor. While All Might reigned supreme as the Number 1 Hero of Japan for years, Endeavor was always second. Endeavor managed to become Japan’s Number 2 Hero despite his less charismatic personality, all thanks to his overwhelming power, stemming from his quirk, Hellflame. Endeavor would eventually become the Number One Hero of Japan after All Might's loss of power. While he was never able to surpass Japan’s greatest hero, Endeavor was still a worthy rival of All Might even at his peak.

Before Izuku Midoriya became the successor of All Might, the prime candidate to inherit the powers of One For All was Mirio Togata, All Might's perceived successor.
