Laboratory Door Puzzle Guide - Crimson Desert

Oongka's Fractured Door quest requires you to solve a door puzzle at the laboratory in the Scholastone Institute, and it's not as simple as you'd want it to be. Luckily, we've got a very short and easy-to-follow guide that will show you exactly what you need to do so you're not stuck here waiting to progress through the mission with no luck passing!

Oongka's Unfamiliar Workshop quest requires you to inspect and fix the broken device, the Power Regulator. Here's what you need to do.

Before attempting to solve this puzzle, you should create a save. You will be locked into playing Oongka until a two-phase boss fight, so make sure you have leveled up Oongka and given him decent gear!

Inside the Scholastone Institute, when you need to visit Vargus, head up the stairs of the building directed by the minimap to find the door. Hold L1 and then press Square/X on the door to operate.

You need to solve the Laboratory Door puzzle in 15 moves or less, which you can do via the D-Pad with these inputs:

If you accidentally go in the wrong direction, then don't worry; the puzzle will reset itself so you can freely try again (at any time). Once the door has been opened, entering the room will start a cutscene and lock you into the rest of Oongka's quest, so make sure you come prepared for the eventual boss fight.

A dark detective thriller where folklore is real, violence is chilling, and every choice has consequences.
