Jujutsu Kaisen Unveils Gojo Satoru's Official Final Power-Up

Gojo Satoru is one of the most important characters in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. In the modern era, he stood as the strongest sorcerer of all time, and his strength could hardly be rivaled by any, apart from Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses. Over the years, Gojo refined his strength and took it to the absolute, showing Jujutsu Sorcery of the highest order.

In his battle against Sukuna in Shinjuku Showdown, Gojo showed how skilled he truly was. Before his death, he received one special power-up that made him even more dangerous as a sorcerer. This power came through a newly established circuit for his Reverse Cursed Technique, which he gained after landing multiple Black Flashes in a row.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221, released officially on April 24, 2023, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Double Issue 21-22, Gojo Vs Sukuna officially began. This clash of the strongest lasted for multiple chapters and saw both Sukuna and Gojo test sorcery to its very limit and even break through it on multiple occasions. Gojo and Sukuna were quite clearly neck and neck, and while the modern sorcerer was dominant for the vast majority of the battle, the latter was the one who claimed victory in the end.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236, which was officially released on September 24, 2023, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 43, Sukuna was able to cut Gojo in half with his world-splitting Dismantle.
