Jujutsu Kaisen Announces Its Biggest Manga Release For October 27

Jujutsu Kaisen is the magnum opus of the legendary mangaka Gege Akutami, serialized in the popular Japanese magazine Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. Jujutsu Kaisen's popularity hasn't dwindled despite the series' conclusion back in 2024. The sales for the series are still high, and the manga is as popular as ever, in large part thanks to its highly successful anime adaptation by MAPPA Studio, and Gege’s return with Modulo.

With Jujutsu Kaisen's influence growing, and to capitalize on the hype, exciting news was officially revealed concerning a new JJK collectible. Viz Media has officially announced a new complete Jujutsu Kaisen manga set, including all volumes of the series, as well as an extra poster, set to be released this very October. It stands as a worthwhile investment for fans who have yet to build their collection and want to complete it in one go.

Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami began its serialization on March 5, 2018, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, and it ended on September 30, 2024. The final chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, chapter 271, was released in Issue #44 of WSJ in 2024, around 2 years ago now. The final volume followed swiftly after and was released on December 25, 2024, marking the end of the series with the release of Volume 30. Despite the sudden conclusion, Jujutsu Kaisen is still one of Weekly Shonen Jump's most successful series, with sales still among the top 5 of 2026 . Naturally, given its enduring popularity, we weren't surprised to see Viz Media, the official publisher of Jujutsu Kaisen in North America, release a new major collectible item for the franchise.
