Multiplayer extraction shooters have grown massively in the past few years, and one of the biggest reasons for that is the organic player interactions that occur in every single match, whether it means making friends or enemies. However, when you factor in PvE encounters as well as those with other people, the matches can get quite contentious, as you often have a split between those hunting for PvP action and those who prefer to loot and shoot AI. Out of all the games in the genre, ARC Raiders has been the one where this topic has been debated the most, where the player base is divided between these two sides and the developers are clearly taking notice with their upcoming PvE-only test.
