Iron Gate Puzzle in Marni's Manor - Crimson Desert

Once you reach the Museum of Marni as Oongka in "Fateful Encounter," you will be required to investigate Marni's Manor, but first, you will need to find a way past the locked iron gate. With an objective to "find a way to return to where you originally were", your hints and guidance are very limited. Thankfully, the quick guide below will show you exactly what you need to do to escape.

Oongka needs to open the Laboratory Door in his "Fractured Door" Main Quest. Here are the exact steps you need to take.

When you arrive at Marni's Manor, you'll find 6 candles on the wall, each marked with a symbol of the sun and moon. To solve the puzzle, you just need to turn on the right candles:

In order to actually light the candles, you just need to approach them and hold L1 to highlight the specific candle, then press Square/X. Once all three candles are active, the iron door will open, and you can proceed into the main hall to start a cutscene. There's now just one puzzle remaining before the boss fight; then you can unlock the open world again.

Your only hint to solve this puzzle without a guide is "Light the tallest candle, and let its neighbors sleep. Let light and darkness alternate to complete the circle," so it doesn't make much sense.

A dark detective thriller where folklore is real, violence is chilling, and every choice has consequences.
