Ice Cavern 100% Walkthrough - Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake

The Ice Cavern is where you can get the Iron Boots for the Water Temple (and underwater exploration), but it's also home to 3 Gold Skulltulas that you won't want to miss. You'll find a full Ice Cavern walkthrough below, which will take you from the start of the dungeon to the end and ensure you collect everything that might be missed along the way!

Forest Temple will be the first temple that Adult Link must cleanse in Ocarina of Time. Here's how to get there and how to complete it.

Once you enter the Ice Cavern, you will need to defeat the three Freezards to open the next gate. In the following room, you will need to collect five crystals. They are all in the room, so they're pretty easy to find.

What might not be easy to find is the Gold Skulltula, which is hiding high above on the south wall. Use your Hookshot to kill it, then use the Hookshot again to grab it and add it to your collection.

Once all 5 crystals have been acquired, head through the unlocked door and climb up the structures. There's an icicle blocking your path that contains blue fire. You need to collect the blue fire with an Empty Bottle, as this fire will become a key mechanic for the remaining dungeon.

Where you found the blue fire, continue walking on the path, and you will find red ice (and a Freezard). Use ZR to release the blue fire and melt the red ice, where you will be able to collect the treasure chest that contains the Dungeon Map.
