Outpost is a new raider base introduced in the ARC Raiders Frozen Trails update, which players must first unlock by completing a few tasks. Embark is testing a limited-time PvE mode for ARC Raiders. Here is when it goes live, how to play, and what's changing in gameplay.

The first phase of the Sheltered Retreat Project to unlock the Outpost in ARC Raiders will require players to complete a small quest. The objective is to take a photo of any farmland house around the Ruined Homestead.

Before queuing a match, make sure to keep a camera in your inventory, as you'll need it to take the photo of the farmland house near the Ruined Homestead.

So, you'll need to go to the Ruined Homestead POI on the Blue Gate map, located northwest of the Ancient Fort.

Once you're here, you'll spot several ruins of houses in the area. Take out the camera and take a photo of any one of these houses to complete the objective. Now, all you need to do is head back to Speranza.

For the next phase, you'll need to donate some common crafting materials. Here's a quick summary of the items required to complete the "Gather Building Materials" phase for unlocking the Outpost in ARC Raiders .
