In this day and age, reloading your weapon in an FPS game does not usually take more than the click of a button. I think we can all agree that there's nothing worse than running out of ammo in the middle of a firefight, especially if you are alone against a horde of enemies. However, if you have ever played a game where you need to manually operate your firearms, you know that life can be much more difficult than having to face a few enemies.
There are some hardcore FPS games where reloading at the wrong moment can leave you completely defenseless, waste your ammunition, or make you lose all the items that you've collected. If you have the habit of reloading after every few shots, it would be better to break it before trying out any of these games.
CS2 has changed how players must think about reloading their guns, though Valve's FPS game is hardly the first to make ammo scarce.
Reloading your weapon with a single button sounds like heaven to those who are fans of Receiver 2. This single-player shooter makes a strong attempt at simulating the internal mechanisms of real-world firearms, which means that players must learn how their weapons actually function. Although this is quite frustrating at times, it's hard to deny that it results in a more realistic experience.
Players explore procedurally arranged spaces and fight against a mysterious force called the Threat. Instead of fighting regular soldiers like in most other FPS titles, here you must deal with automated turrets and drones.
