How Many Bosses, Zones, and Weapons Are in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse?

Despite some notable departures from the series' traditional formula, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is still a Metroidvania game at heart, and players can expect their first playthrough to last anywhere between 14 and 20 hours, depending on how much content they plan to finish. Your adventure through hell-torn Paris will definitely take a while, but if you're a veteran of this genre, then your romp through Belmont's Curse might end sooner than you think.

Castlevania features an expansive, extremely confusing timeline, and we're here to sort through it and make sense of Konami's crazy story.

My first playthrough of the game took a little over 15 hours to complete. This accounts for all the deaths I had, all the time I spent fighting respawning mobs and running back to the places I died in, and all the moments I got lost while exploring the map and trying to figure out how to reach certain secret areas. All of this was done on the game's default difficulty settings.

If you were to rush the story and focus on doing only your main objectives, then Belmont's Curse will likely last around 10–12 hours on your first playthrough. Of course, this can become even shorter on subsequent playthroughs once you figure out where all the important upgrades and progression beats are, like in every other Castlevania game that came before this one.

On the flip side, you can expect upwards of 20 hours of playtime on your first run if you decide to aim for 100% completion in each area while working towards unlocking every achievement/trophy the game has to offer.
