How to Polish (Upgrade) Accessories in Phantom Blade Zero

Accessories in Phantom Blade Zero will be a crucial part of your build that come with various buffs aiding Soul in his adventure to reach Pangzhen and beyond. During exploration, you might have picked up an item called the Tainted Crystal Shard, which is used to polish accessories and upgrade their buffs. Here's how players will be able to upgrade/polish accessories in Phantom Blade Zero.

Here's how players can pick the correct weeping portal in Mirrorwood Depths to reach the end of the Crimson Forest region in Phantom Blade Zero.

To polish or upgrade accessories in Phantom Blade Zero, players will need to complete the Crimson Forest (second region) and arrive in the Village of Lu (third region). After waking up at the Place of Awakening bell, you'll need to follow the trail until you automatically encounter an NPC named "Jewel."

Don't forget to ask her "About the faint weeping" to progress the "Whence the Weeping" quest.

Selecting the option "Polish Accessories" will open up the accessory upgrade tab. If you have enough Tainted Crystal Shards or Refined Indigo Crystal, you'll be able to upgrade your accessories one or even multiple times depending on the type of accessory.

After encountering Jewel, you'll now be able to access the accessory upgrade menu straight from any bell. Just head into the "Upgrade Equipment" tab and switch the tab over to accessories.

Upgrading your accessory will significantly boost its stats. However, you'll need to think about it carefully before upgrading, as materials spent on polishing accessories aren't refundable , unlike weapons.
