Romance has come to Crimson Desert with the Charting the Unknown DLC, allowing all three protagonists to pick a lover and engage in romantic gestures that might see them become happily married (or unhappily divorced if you'd prefer). Below, we'll have a full romance guide for Crimson Desert that covers how to romance and marry, what characters can (and can't) be romanced, and what happens in marriage and divorce.
If you want to explore the ocean depths in Crimson Desert, you're going to need a diving suit. Here's how to get it, and how it works.
In order to romance a character, you must build their Trust to +100 first, which is easily done with Gold Bars and other gifts, or by talking to them a few times a day.
Once the NPC has +100 Trust, you can begin to flirt with them. Flirting with them before reaching +100 Trust will lower their Trust value.
Now that you can build Flirt, you must reach +100 Flirt before you can Propose, which will allow you to marry NPCs! However, building Flirt will take a few in-game days, as you can only repeat this action so many times before you need to skip time.
You can romance any NPC that has the heart symbol on their Trust icon, as shown in the image above for reference. If a character does not have this symbol, then they cannot be romanced.
Nearly every random NPC can be romanced, as can shop vendors, and even Witches, provided you complete their Witch Sanctum side quests .
