How to open the sealed stone in Final Fantasy Resonance

If you want a shiny new Esper, busting the sealed stone is worth the effort

You'll probably run into Final Fantasy Resonance's sealed stone early in your adventure, depending on how far off the beaten path you explore. A really useful prize is waiting inside said stone, too. However, you can't do anything about it for quite some time. It's for the best, really, as you have to fight for that prize, and it's a pretty challenging battle.

Below, we explain how to open the sealed stone in Final Fantasy Resonance and what's waiting for you inside.

Resonance goes out of its way to ensure you know the sealed stone exists. An NPC with an exclamation mark in Kol talks about it, and it's mentioned in one of the Zoldaad news bulletins. All these are optional, though, and if you're focused on the main story, it's easy to miss the stone's existence entirely, which means missing out on Titan, a powerful Esper.

The sealed stone is in the north-central desert in Grandshelt, southeast of the Cavern of Swords and northwest of Kol. You need the Gaia Hammer to crack it open, though.

The only way to obtain the Gaia Hammer is by completing the Fledgling-rank gladiator trials in Grandshelt . Those aren't available until restoration work progresses in Grandshelt, but you can start challenging them once you begin Chapter 4 . You can technically finish the full Fledgling set before finishing the main story quests in Zoldaad, but the last two fights are pretty tough unless you're around level 30.
