While there may only be one romantic route for Lunne in The Witch's Bakery, there are several people in Paris that she can befriend and learn from. For those of you looking to 100 percent the game, maxing out all of these relationships will be necessary, as there is an achievement for each level of each main relationship.

Some of these relationships will naturally progress alongside the story as you're forced into certain interactions. However, you can miss out on maxing out almost every relationship in the game, including the romantic option, if you don't make it a priority. Which is why seeking out gifts when you have some spare change can be the one thing that saves your relationship.

Since there are only a handful of places to shop in The Witch's Bakery, it shouldn't be too hard to track down gifts. That said, inventories are always changing as the game progresses, and you'll want to purchase them as soon as you can to ensure you have plenty of time to evaluate which relationships you're in danger of not maxing out.

Gifts won't explicitly say they're a gift in the item's name, but you can easily spot them by looking for the present icon. Additionally, if you scroll over the item, you'll see an icon of who it is intended for. You cannot give gifts to anyone other than the person they're explicitly for.
