Two delays and 13 years later, GTA 6 is finally about to launch. Save for a random, last-minute wrench in Rockstar's plans that contradicts its marketing black hole, the game releases in exactly one month, on November 19.
That's one month to book the day off work, or, if you want to be a bit more practical, two days. That way, you get a four-day weekend to play GTA 6 (I'm sure you can get a hack Vice City doctor to write a note).
More seriously, that's a month to scrounge up $79.99 for the Standard Edition, or $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. And if you decide to pre-order, digital preloads go live a full week early:
You can always finagle the New Zealand trick to play a day early.
There's no disc version, just a code-in-a-box, so if you decide to buy 'physically', you'll still need to download the game at launch. If you don't have the best internet, frankly, digital is probably the way to go. Then again, the physical version does come with a map, as is tradition.
While the wait for GTA 6 is finally coming to a close, with just one month left to go, PC players will have to wait a bit longer. But, thankfully, it might not be as long as many had assumed. A recent report suggests that Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch during Q1 2027, meaning that it may arrive before March 31, next year.
This allegedly comes from industry sources close to Rockstar's plans, so it's worth taking with a grain of salt.
