How To Get To Crystal-Tree Grotto & Waterway to the Falls In Genshin Impact

Putting it simply, if you want to go to the Crystal-Tree Grotto and Waterway to the Falls in Genshin Impact, you need to trigger and complete the Let Not All Rivers Run Dry quest. This mission takes players on a journey with Thrud and Glinin, where Glinin wishes to survey the water of Novokitezhgrad, only to find something bigger hidden by the flowing water. After all, it's normal for people to take things for granted and not think about where their water and air came from.

Dark Clouds In A Wine Bottle quest in Genshin Impact is mostly straightforward until the game tells you to find a way into the secret passage.

To get to the Crystal-Tree Grotto in Genshin Impact, you must follow the Let Not All Rivers Run Dry quest. At one point, you will visit the Teplo Oasis and witness growing Blightkristalls. After running away from the Blightkristalls, you will jump into a hole that hides a beautiful area called Crystal-Tree Grotto.

You can actually jump in even before you do the quest, but you won't be able to proceed inside, as you need Glinin to unlock the Luminous Lamp Crystal Prime Ice Construct. This construct is necessary to remove the Blightkristall blocking the way inside the Crystal-Tree Grotto.

Don't forget to complete the Blightkristall puzzle and Dimmed Plant puzzle in Crystal-Tree Grotto to get two Precious Chests.

The Waterway to the Falls is still part of the Crystal-Tree Grotto. You can go there around the end of the Let Not All Rivers Run Dry quest, when Travelers are told to follow the water's flow onward.
