The Flaming Mane in Phantom Blade Zero is a lion-headed Phantom Edge that will allow players to use fire and burn dried branches and brambles to open up new paths. This is one of, if not the most important, Phantom Edge in the game that inflicts heavy burn on enemies and will also allow you to reach new areas and progress through several questlines. Here's how to get your hands on the Flaming Mane Phantom Edge.
Bastion is a shield-type Phantom Edge that players will need to safely go through arrow-trapped hallways to grab hidden chests in Phantom Blade Zero.
To get the Flaming Mane Phantom Edge in Phantom Blade Zero, you'll need to progress through the Pangzhen until you arrive at the Lion Dance Hall in the northwest section of the region. The gate will be locked, so you'll need to get the Lion-Head Embroidered Ball to unlock it.
Once you're inside the Lion Dance Hall, progress through the area until you arrive at the boss arena where you'll need to fight Flame, the Mask-Bound Lion Dance Grandmaster. This is a two-phase fight which, personally, is the best boss fight in the game, mechanics-wise, only second to the Gold-Masked One.
After you defeat the boss, you'll get the Dormant Flaming Mane story item. You won't be able to use the Flaming Mane as is, and will need to get it repaired first.
To repair the Dormant Flaming Mane in Phantom Blade Zero , you'll need to head to the Jingyang Hall in the center of Pangzhen .
