How To Beat The Fallen In Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Suit up vampire hunters because Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is finally here. In this entry in this legendary Metroidvania franchise, you assume the role of Rose Belmont, who is sent to Paris to investigate a monstrous outbreak taking place in this city.

To survive this nightmare, you'll need to expand your arsenal of weapons and spells. Magic comes in the form of Tarot Cards, which must be hunted down and individually unlocked. One of the first ones is The Fallen, which will be introduced to you early on during your exploration of the Paris streets.

"The monster . . . hunts for souls . . . tried to trap it . . . hid the lever . . . near the barrels . . ."

For the first step of this quest, you will need to unlock the trap door to the sewer system below Paris. This can be done right below when you first speak to the spirit and learn about The Fallen card. After talking with the spirit, drop down to the lower platform with all the barrels and attack the left wall (shown above).

This will break it apart, exposing a hidden area with a lever. Approach the lever and interact with it to open a passage by the well directly below you. Drop into the hole and fall all the way down into the sewer system, then proceed right. Don't worry about losing health, there's no fall damage in this game!

Belmont's Curse is getting a free demo very soon that will let players try the opening chapter.
