Amazon has dropped the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 to $989.99 for Prime Day, down from its $1,199.99 RRP. That saves you $220, an 18% discount off the recommended retail price, and it is the lowest price since launch.

Samsung packs in a 6.9-inch 120Hz main foldable display and a 4.1-inch 120Hz cover screen, so you get a large screen when opened and a very usable outer screen when closed. In the US, it uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, along with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

The battery is rated at 4,300mAh, with 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Camera hardware includes a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP selfie camera. Samsung also highlights new AI and FlexWindow features, as well as Galaxy AI experiences on the cover screen. Some business materials also note Samsung DeX support.

It also carries a strong 4.6 out of 5 review rating. At $989.99, this Prime Day offer looks like one to grab before the price goes back up.

Buyers need Amazon Prime to get this discount. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial here.
