Get a 5TB Seagate "Game Drive" Portable Hard Drive for $170 Ahead of Black Friday

Ahead of Black Friday, you can score a rare deal on a spacious portable hard drive. The official Newegg store on AliExpress is offering the Seagate "Game Drive for Xbox" 5TB USB 3.2 Portable Hard Drive for just $170.05 with free shipping after $40 off coupon code "DBDEAL40". It's shipped from a local US warehouse and gets delivered to you within a week. Newegg is an authorized Seagate reseller. Yes, this same drive could have been purchased for a lower price two years ago, but times have changed. This is currently the cheapest price I can find for a portable 5TB drive in today's market.

Just to clear up any confusion: although this drive is marketed as a "Game Drive for Xbox," this is simply a standard portable hard drive with Xbox licensing and a green LED bar that matches the Xbox motif. The drive boasts real world transfers of up to 100-150MB/s over USB 3.2. Probably the most annoying feature of this drive is that it has a USB 3.0 Micro-B connection, which isn't very common. Fortunately, a USB Micro-B to USB Type-A cable is provided. It you lose it, you're unlikely to have a spare and will probably need to buy a new one (fortunately, it's ready available and inexpensive)
