Gears of War: E-Day Gets Its First Price Cut Ahead of Black Friday Sales

A little over a month after its release, and squeezing in just ahead of Black Friday sales, physical copies of Gears of War: E-Day have received their first major discount since launch at Amazon and Target. Both retailers have knocked its standard edition down to $60.99, saving you $9 off its original cost. It may be a minor price cut, but for a game we consider to be among the best of the year so far, it's certainly still worth looking into.

If you're a bit on the fence about buying this latest Gears game, it's worth noting that IGN's Ryan McCaffrey absolutely raved about it in his 9/10 review. He called it "a powerful package of campaign and multiplayer" and even added that it's "one of my favorite games of the year, and dare I say one of the best as well." With that kind of praise, it's hard to resist grabbing it for your gaming library, especially while it has a few bucks knocked off its list price.

As we get further into November, more video game deals like this are sure to pop up in Black Friday sales. Some retailers are even kicking off the seasonal sale celebrations early this year, like Target and Best Buy . Both of these retailers are dropping early Black Friday deals this weekend, so you can start searching through their selections right away to find some more discounted physical games. Or, if digital games are more up your alley, the PlayStation Store's Black Friday sale is another that's already live.
